This cookie policy explains which cookies and similar techniques (such as your browser's local storage) our website laminedediamant.eu uses, why, for how long, and how you can change your choice at any time. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
01What are cookies?
Cookies are small files that a website places on your device. Your browser's local storage (localStorage) and session storage (sessionStorage) are similar techniques. In this policy we refer to all of them as "cookies".
02Consent
Under Article 10/2 of the Belgian Law of 30 July 2018 (transposing Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive) and the GDPR, the only cookies we place without your consent are those strictly necessary for the website to work. For all others we ask for your consent first.
- On your first visit, you choose in the banner "Accept all", "Decline all" or set your preferences per category. Declining is as easy as accepting.
- Until you make a choice, we load no Google Analytics or Google Ads scripts.
- We keep your choice for 6 months. After that, we ask you again.
- You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, we delete the relevant Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies on our domain.
03Which cookies do we use?

3.3 Marketing (only with your consent)

_gcl_au | Google (Google Ads) | Measuring whether a visit after an ad leads to an enquiry or purchase | Cookie, 90 days |
_gcl_aw | Google (Google Ads) | Remembering which ad brought you here (only after clicking an ad) | Cookie, 90 days |
With your marketing consent, Google may also read or place cookies on its own domains (such as google.com or doubleclick.net). Google decides on these; see Google's cookie policy.
3.4 External content (only when you ask for it)
The Google Maps maps on our store pages are loaded only when you click "Load map". From then on, Google may place cookies and receives, among other things, your IP address. If you prefer not to, use the "Get Directions" button (which opens Google Maps in a new window) or look up our address yourself.
04Without consent: simple counting without cookies
Even without your consent, we count page visits, without cookies and without storing anything on your device. We then record only the page visited, the referring page, the browser type and a truncated IP address (the last part is erased on receipt). We keep this data for 26 months.
05Managing cookies in your browser
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the necessary cookies, the shopping basket and forms will no longer work.
